Calling all novelists, short story writers, poets,
and everything in between!
The Midwest Climate Summit presents Climate Stories: a competition and showcase for writers to feature their experiences with climate change. Entries should provide a call-to-action for readers. Collaborations are allowed if stated in submission.
Upload Requirements
All work must be original student work. Editing is permitted to allow for remote collaboration. All submissions should be submitted in .doc/.docx or PDF format. All works have a seven-page limit (~3500 words).
Prizes
- First Place: $1,500
- Second Place: $1,000
- Third Place: $750
