I came across this pile of garbage in Nubra Valley, India. This beautiful valley lies between the majestic Himalayas in the Ladakh region of India. It was such a sad sight for me as I love traveling and being in the nature. Increased tourism has given rise to tourists flooding these beautiful landscapes and littering them, especially in third world countries like India where there is no oversight to protect the nature. Since then, I took an oath to never leave a trace of myself whenever I go into the wilderness and keep my surroundings clean.
