After learning about the plastic pollution in our oceans, I knew I had to use my design skills to raise awareness of this crisis. I thought the best way to reach people was through motion graphics. I started with creating a narrative that describes the process of single use plastics. I strived to call attention to flaws in our garbage system, amount of plastic we use daily, and impact of microplastics. Finally, I ended my video with a call to action to share with the viewers – simple ways they can be a part of the solution.
