Free Grant Training Offerings from MCC & SUIE!

Midwest Climate Collaborative and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is providing free Grant Training Workshops (virtual and in-person) Check out more details here (for what you’ll learn and when they are taking place!)

We are thrilled to have Diane Cox and Connie Frey-Spurlock from SIUE who have been instrumental in making this project possible. They both are grant experts and are leading several of the free grant training offerings along with other talented professionals at SIUE!

See here for the informational slides Diane presented on our call today.

Q&A:

Q: Can you explain a bit more about how entities will be selected to participate in the modules? Is it first come first served? Other registration steps to be selected?

A: Due to limited capacity, we can only accept 15 participants for this training program. It is essentially first come, first serve. That said, while we encourage applications from all interested individuals, we will prioritize participants from Midwest states and Environmental Justice (EJ) communities.

Q: Can more than one person from the same organization participate?

A: Seats are limited in number so it’ll be limited to one per org, unless there’s room.

Q: If I’m interested in more than one opportunity, is there a recommended order in which to take them?

A: If you’re doing both the Grant Development and the Grant Management modules, you’ll want to do grant development before grant management!

Registration is open for the online Grant Development Modules and the upcoming Grant Ready Workshop taking place December 13th in Des Moines, IA:
