- Municipal Investment Fund (MIF):
- Extended the application deadline to March 5, 2025!
- What is it? ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability USA is partnering with the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) to offer market-building funding and technical support to help communities — local governments, Tribes, and their partner not-for-profit organizations — to develop public-private partnership plans that can accelerate the deployment of capital to clean energy projects. Selected communities will be qualified to pursue CGC’s Municipal Investment Fund.
- Region 5 Grantmaker awards, accepting first round applications through TODAY Jan 31st!
- Region 5: DOE Energy Improvements in Rural or Remote Areas (ERA)
- provides support for rural and remote populations in building clean energy projects that benefit their communities.
- Region 7 Grantmaker awards, first round application review begins today with the next round applications (all tiers) accepted through April 30th.

- Local Infrastructure Hub Bootcamps for Cities! These bootcamps are particularly timely for those that have received awards and need additional guidance on managing and implementing federal infrastructure awards. (Compliance is important AND it’s even more important right now with climate-related projects being put under the microscope). Registration is open now, with sessions running through Winter 2025.
