1/11/25 – Building Resilience

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating wildfires in Southern California. The situation remains critical as strong winds continue to make it all the more challenging to control. The widespread destruction is leaving thousands without homes, dozens have lost their lives and countless acres of land have been scorched. While California is over 1,000+ miles away from any of us here in the Midwest region, the threat of uncontrolled wildfires is still ever-present. See below for an open funding opportunity in the Midwest region to help make landscapes more resilient to fire and helping people and infrastructure better prepare for, respond to, and recover from wildfires.
