January 2022 Midwest Climate Summit

The 2022 Midwest Climate Summit on January 28th marked the official launch of the Midwest Climate Collaborative (MCC). The Summit featured remarks from White House National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy, and Aimee Witteman, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs with the U.S. Department of Energy. A cross-sector panel of MCC founding members held an interactive discussion following those remarks. The Summit included highlights of climate leadership across the Midwest, an overview of initial MCC projects, introduction of the MCC Director, Heather Navarro, and additional background for organizations interested in getting involved.
