Abigail Aderonmu-Omuni

Abigail Aderonmu-Omunu is a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the International Center for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (InCEES) at Washington University in St Louis. At InCEES, she is working on the Midwest Climate Collaborative’s Research Agenda. This collaborative research effort aims to develop a stakeholder driven climate research framework for the midwestern region of the United States by identifying multi-sectoral climate research priorities and needs through synthesizing current knowledge about climate impacts and solutions. 

A native of Nigeria, Aderonmu-Omunu earned a PhD in Geoscience and Social Science and a MSc in Urban and Environmental Geoscience from the University of Missouri- Kansas City (UMKC). Her undergraduate degree in Geography is from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. Her training is interdisciplinary, which enables her to leverage knowledge and skills across multiple disciplines in science and social science.
